When You Have Daughters!

There are several things you need to remember:

• The idea that they will look after you in your dotage is a myth!

• They will almost certainly be hell in their teens – but remember, thankfully they are only teenagers for seven years.

• They may hate each other during adolescence but, with luck, they will then be friends for life.

• You will never really find out what they get up to and often it’s best to not know

• On their wedding day they will make you the happiest and most proud parents in the world.

Those of you who know me will be aware that I am partial to a “wedding or two”! Well, Dawn and Jon were married in 2004 and Claire and Carl in 2006 and these pages tell the story of “The Best Weddings of the 21st Century”.
